Description: Extension of the NET tram system to Chilwell involved construction of a new bridge across the A52 (Clifton Boulevard) at the Queen's Medical Centre. The main bowstring span was fabricated off-site and then 'parked' in the QMC car park (as seen here) until placed in position over the road. To the right the eastern approach viaduct is under construction.
