Description: Looking towards Chesterfield during the construction of the Chesterfield bypass. The groundworks shown in the photo are for the construction of the subways that now go under the roundabout. The victoria club and old Police House are on the righthand side of the picture and to the lefthand side behind the road sign is the former showroom of Charlie Freeman's motorcycles.
