Description: Smoke from a manhole outside 'Your Price' clothes shop, alerted emergency services to the fire and twenty eight premises along the A6 were evacuated. The road was closed from 12:30pm to 4:30pm. A faulty electrical cable had caught fire along a fifty foot length, causing a small leak in an adjacent gas pipe.
