Description: A land slide occurred one sunday, Jan 1967, from the colliery tip, pouring pit waste over the road and trapping a car. Although this scene is near to Temple Normanton, it is actually to the east of it and is looking eastward. The building at the centre left, is High House, a farm on the road to Sutton Scarsdale. The road in the foreground therefore is the course of the old A617, Chesterfield to Mansfield route. This section is known as Muster Brook. The tip on the right, which slipped, belonged to Williamthorpe Colliery.
