Description: The parish Church of St John, originally dates to the early 14th century. The names of the Parish Church cleaning ladies were: back row, from left: Mrs Dixon, Mrs Watnough, Mrs F. Allen, Mrs Chapman, Mrs Groves, Mrs Stacey, Mrs Eyre and Miss Hague. Front: Mrs E. Allen, Mrs Adlington, Mrs Gilbert, Mrs Crout and Mrs Annie Wildgoose. The same group of ladies also cleaned and made habitable No 113 Chesterfield Road in November 1914 for Belgian refugees.
