Description: A view of the front of Chilwell Manor Club House.
A parkland course located 3 miles south of Nottingham, close to Beeston and adjacent to Attenborough Wildlife and Nature Reserve, which is designated as an area of natural beauty. The course was designed by Tom Williamson at the beginning of the last century and offers a good test of golf for both the high and low handicapper. Water plays a prominent part, especially on the front nine where dikes run parallel to, and across, many fairways. Ponds also come into play, which makes accurate approach shots a necessity.
