Description: This houseboat was used by Trent Valley Sailing Club as a floating clubhouse when it first relocated from its original lake location (now the golf course) to its present home on the junction of the River Trent and Cranfleet Canal at the turn of the Twentieth Century. This image must have been taken around 1903/4 showing the boat moored on the Trent side with Red Hill tunnels in the background. (Information very kindly supplied by Richard Partridge).
