Description: The æWellÆ was a most important source of water, and itÆs source is a spring that rises in Barlborough Park. One of the stone troughs was thought to be an ancient font. A large and a small round trough were removed from the well site and are now housed in the church porch. (Taken from http://www.derbyshireheritage.co.uk/Menu/Townsandvillages/Barlborough.php)
