Description: The reredos in St Nicholas's Chapel at Haddon Hall is made from Nottingham alabaster and is probably of 15th century date. However, it is not an original feature here but was obtained from Belgium by the 9th Duke of Rutland during his restoration of Haddon during the early 20th century. There are nine panels displaying the Passion of Christ. The three panels here depict (left) the Entry into Jerusalem, (centre) the Garden of Gethsemane, and (right) Christ Mocked.
