Description: Nathan Moss with his one year youngest daughter Helen who was born in 1890 to his third wife. At the time this photograph was taken, Nathan had not long moved to the Queens Arms because more land was available with that hostelry where he continued his coach trade. He died in 1908, aged 68 and it took 9 men to carry his coffin up the street to the church gates where it was placed on the parish bier. The Queens Arms was formerly known as the Miners Arms - a reminder of Taddington's lead mining past.
