Description: The start of demolition work on the disused railway bridge spanning Little Hallam Hill. This carried the former Great Northern Railway Stanton Branch (serving Stanton Ironworks) over the road and had closed on 26 May 1968. View looking north. The International 100 'Loader' (bulldozer) appears to have already dug away the embankment on the south side of the bridge and demolished the nearest abutment pillar.
