Description: An aerial view of Tupton Village.
Queen Victoria Road is the road running diagonally through the photo with Hagg Hill Farm (Grassmoor) visible in the top right.
Grassmoor village is part-visible in the top left. Just above the Sewage Works is the mainline railway (still open) and the disused former Avenue Sidings site (built in the 1950s for the then new Avenue Coking Plant). The disused former sidings area became part of the new Avenue Washlands Nature Reserve, opened to the public as a footpath/trail from 2006.
Just left of the Sewage Farm pond was a pasture field which was dug out around 2001 to form ponds for part of the new Avenue Washlands Nature Reserve.
