Description: All Saints' Church in Youlgreave is one of the most impressive churches in Derbyshire. The church was first mentioned in 1150, when it was given to St Mary's Abbey in Leicester. It is quite likely that there was a church here in Saxon times. The present church originally dates back to the 13th or 14th century, but was altered and restored in c 1870. Externally, the view is dominated by the broad perpendicular tower, with its angle buttresses, large western door, and eight pinnacles.
