Description: This is a view from the south west. The Manor House is otherwise known as Ilkeston Hall, built on the site of an earlier Hall Farm and occupied in the 18th and 19th centuries by the Cocker family, and later (c 1870) by John Taylor. It was subsequently acquired by Manners Colliery Company, and leased to various occupants. It was sold in 1933 to Ilkeston Borough Council and occupied by their Health Department from June 1939 until May 1960. It was demolished in January 1961.
