Description: The Prince of Wales Inn is a white-painted building with two gables fronting the street. Chapel Street is to the left, Bath Street to the right. Various alterations were made to the original building in late 1880's, again in 1930 and a rear extension added in 1959. Demolition of the Inn, an adjoining shop (corner of Chapel Street) and houses 135 to 140 Chapel Street was proposed in 1960, to make way for a self-service store.
