Description: The first Wesley Street Methodist Sunday School was the low roofed section of the building. Its foundation stone was laid in April 1877. Its builder was Robert Booth. Additional classes were built c 1889 and 1906(?). In 1911 the school was proposed as a temporary elementary school, pending construction of a new building at Bennerley Avenue, but its not clear if this was done. The building was demolished in the mid-1970's and no's 59 A, B, and C were built on the site.
