Description: An impressive display of fowls and other meat suspended in front of Theo R Fritchley's Family Butcher's shop. A solitary pig's head sits in the middle, while the proprietor (presumably) stands to the right with the business's delivery bicycle on the left.
Fritchley's shop was situated on the west side of Market Street (although Kelly's Derbyshire trade directory for 1916 gives the address as nearby Victoria Road). There was a second shop at Shacklecross, Borrowash.
