Description: All Saints Church is said to be one of the smallest in England (it measures 26ft by 25ft). The core of the structure which includes the church (left) and an attached house (right) is believed to have been the infirmary chapel and infirmary belonging to Dale Abbey. Prior to 1820 the house portion was a pub called the Blue Bell. Both parts were substantially renovated and rebuilt in 1880-81.
This view shows the gated external staircase that gives access to the gallery within the church. It is located on the south side of the building.
