Description: This is probably 'Captain' Sidney Spencer's balloon at the Ilkeston Flower Show on Pimlico Recreation Ground. This is not the same event as the 1909 and so could be at any time in the 1900s, but is most likely c 1901-1905. Note man hanging from trapeze off the balloon!
Pimlico Recreation Ground was improved in the mid-1920s as the Rutland Recreation Ground.
