Description: Became Westfield Comprehensive School in 1958. When created the comprehensive school was a split site with the Lower School at the former grammar school site at Halfway and the Upper School at the new build at Mosborough. Eventually the Lower School site was closed and everything moved to Mosborough. With the county boundary changes in 1967 the school became part of Sheffield Education Authority.
