Description:
House was built in 1938 and the stonework surrounding the front door was taken from Wingerworth Hall which was demolished in the mid-1920's. The stone base around the house came from T. P. Woods house in Boythorpe (Boythorpe Hall). The house was built by a builder as a wedding gift to his daughter and was one of the first houses to be built on the lane.
