Description: This row of four stone cottages was demolished in the early 1960s. They were located at Brampton Chain Bar and probably dated from the 1840s. In this view Bradbury Hall (itself now demolished and replaced by Bradbury Place) can be seen in the background. Looking north-east. The car is a Ford Consul Classic 315, a model introduced in May 1961.
Picture the Past is grateful to Jeremy Satherley for his identification of the car.
