Description: View is from the south. When built in 1908, the land was in Sandiacre but became part of Long Eaton in 1921. The house was built for John W Spridgeon, a Long Eaton lace machine manufacturer and was said to have cost £10,000. The architect was Ernest Hooley of Long Eaton. The extensive gardens have now been developed with housing and the house is now a social club.
