Description: North of Litton Mill, along the Wye from Monsal Dale, is Cressbrook Dale (otherwise known by its older name of Ravensdale). Cressbrook Dale is known for its many crags, disused lead mines and woodland nature reserve. In spring the dale abounds with the blooms of many rare species of wild flowers. Peter's Stone is a prominent limestone crag, posing a distinct feature of the upper reaches of Cressbrook Dale. (information from www.dovedale.info)
