Description: He joined the Sherwood Foresters before being transferred to the South Staffordshire regiment. He was wounded in action on 26th May 1917 and died on 26th July 1917 from his injuries in a London hospital. He was aged 24. He was interred at Spital Cemetery in Chesterfield on 30th July 1917.
