Albert was born in Heanor in Derbyshire, and met Elvis on 5 occasions. Albert died in April 1972 at the age of 46. Elvis Presley sent a telegram to Mrs Hand on hearing of his death. Elvis Aaron Presley was born on January 8, 1935, in Tupelo, Mississippi. His first million-selling single was called 'Heartbreak Hotel', released in 1955 and he also starred in Love Me Tender in this year, the first of 33 movies he eventually made. Elvis Presley died at the age of 42 in 1977.
