Nottingham Castle was a major royal fortress that stood in a dominating position over the city of Nottingham during the Middle Ages and was home to the Sheriff of Nottingham in the legends of Robin Hood. The original castle is now gone, but the site is a popular tourist spot with caves and a Museum to explore. Picture the Past has a wealth of old photos and artworks depicting the castle through the ages. Browse these for research, or buy your favourites as an art print, canvas or printed on our gift ranges.
