Description: On the 11th Jan 1863 a son, Amos jnr, was born to Amos and Harriet Poulson of 20 Goodwin Street, Derby. Amos snr was a shoemaker by trade, and his only child did not follow in his trade but became a tailor.
Amos jnr married Bessie Walton in 1882 and had three sons and a daughter, and lived most of his life in Milford, Derbyshire where he was well known for his charitable work and generosity to the less fortunate in the surrounding district. Harriet died in 1915, Amos in 1928 and only daughter Myra in 1969 and are all buried together in Nottingham Road Cemetery, Derby, Grave no 8575.
