Description: Level crossing on the East Coast Main Line.
The buildings in the distance are in North Muskham and the new A1 bypass was to be constructed between the two villages.
This photograph was taken from South Muskham (St. Wilfrid) church tower. The railway crossing has since been automated and the crossing keeper’s house demolished.
