Folly overlooking the River Trent, Newton Solney, c 1920s
Scarratt, F W
About this image
Looking north across the River Trent towards Egginton. The brick structure appears to have been a folly and given its proximity to and architectural styling was almost certainly associated with nearby Bladon Castle.
This image was produced by Derby-based postcard publisher F W Scarratt and his dog Toby adorns the scene (in addition to helping date the photo). The number allocated by Scarratt to this postcard has not been traced.
