No's 134-138 Cotmanhay Road in background. Jack Hill (of Barker Gate) with horse and cart, possibly during 1926 General Strike. He sold cockles and mussels and wet fish on stall opposite the 'King's Head' public house. He also dealt in coal and kept a horse in field near Bridge Inn on Awsworth Road.
