A stained glass window in the old Grammar School, showing figures in Elizabethan dress. The school was originally founded in 1591 and largely endowed by the Frecheville Family, whose tombs can be seen in St John the Baptist Church, Staveley. The school was largely rebuilt in 1697-8.
