About this image
L to R: ? Weston, Tommy Thomas, and unknown.
Tommy Thomas is identified as a Royal Marine by his 'Fouled Anchor' cap badge (a fouled anchor is an anchor entangled by its rope or chain), a symbol that originated with Howard of Effingham in the 16th century, became the badge of The Lord High Admiral, and was first worn by the Marines in 1747.
It has been suggested that this view is post-World War One as Tommy Thomas is wearing medals.

Picture the Past website contributor Linda Geraghty adds: 'This was my grandad Thomas Thomas.'
