About this image
A wagon was in use as one of the regular coaches whilst the normal coach was repaired. The initals EMM stood for Edward Miller Mundy.
The American Adventure was built on the former Woodside Colliery site, in Shipley Country Park, approximately two miles outside of Heanor towards Ilkeston. It closed in early 2007 and the site reverted to Derbyshire County Council ownership. It remains semi-derelict.
