About this image
Heanor Hall was built in the 1700s. It passed into John Ray's hands in the 1800s. When he died in 1869 and his wife in 1871 it was sold and became a Technical school. The building was demolished in 1910 and a new building put on the site. The new building became Heanor Grammar School then S.E. Derbyshire college.
