A Sunday afternoon ramblers meet in the Winnats. The van in the foreground was registered some time between 1927 and 1930 and has perhaps delivered the two large loudspeakers adjacent to it. The gathering is a large one and at least two policemen are present, this being the era of the Kinder Mass Trespass (1932).
