About this image
The photographer's original captions for this view explain all:
'... A snap today on Froggatt Edge Rocks, North Derbyshire, where the climb is well worth the view of the moorland scenery with its crags and hills, with a distant view of Kinder Scout'
and
'Overlooking the beautiful Hope Valley [more accurately this is the Derwent Valley], Derbyshire, where moorlands and crag scenery form a serious rival to the Lake District. The climbs up these rocks is well worth the trouble, if only for the fine views of Derbyshire's part of the Pennine Range of hills.'
This view is paired with PTPD300154.
