About this image
This view appears to have been taken looking east on a path through woodland alongside Hathersage Road (the A625).
The photographer titled the picture 'Heavy Snowfall today in Derbyshire', adding 'Snap at Blacca [sic] Moor, 6 miles from Sheffield, over 5in fell in 2 Hours here.'
Although actually in the West Riding of Yorkshire at the date of this photo, the county boundary with Derbyshire is only a short distance to the rear of where the photographer is standing.
