About this image
A perambulator (pram) decorated to look like a coach showing a portrait of what looks like either Princess Alexandra (later Queen to Edward VII) or Princess Mary of Teck (later Queen to George V). In 1894 Princess Mary ('May') of Teck had given birth to a future heir to the throne; Prince Edward who became King Edward VIII, The Duke of Windsor. The Dronfield event, with decorated prams, could be to celebrate his birth.
