A group of unidentified police officers with (possibly) their Chief Superintendent seated in the centre and an individual in civilian dress at the rear. This view, scanned from a large 8 x 6 inch glass plate negative, came with no information but was obviously taken on some ceremonial occasion. Can anyone with knowledge of police history offer any further information on the subject matter, particularly with reference to what police force these officers may have belonged to? Can the individual in the centre be identified?
