Melbourne Church, St Michael's - Interior
early-mid 20th century
About this image
The Church is a fine example of Norman architecture, dating from the late 11th and early 12th Centuries. This interior view shows the 4ft. diameter circular piers and the crenelated decorated arches above them in the nave. There are further arches above the Chancel and a rood screen beneath them.
